Leadership Development School

At Freedom Fighters of Georgia, Inc., one of our deepest commitments is to raising up leaders. We believe that true recovery doesn’t stop at sobriety—it grows into purpose, leadership, and a life lived fully for Christ. That’s why we offer a two-year Leadership Development Training School designed for men who:

• Feel called to ministry
• Want extended time in recovery
• Desire to give back what has been freely given to them

A Place to Grow and Thrive

Graduates of our residential recovery program have the unique opportunity to step into this next phase of growth. Our leadership school gives them the chance to:

• Grow deeper in their walk with the Lord
• Develop strong leadership skills
• Learn how to serve and work in the recovery field

We’ve seen firsthand that men who return home too quickly after completing a program often face a higher risk of relapse. That’s why we created a safe place where men can continue to heal, learn, and thrive—without rushing back into old environments.

What Students Experience

The Leadership Development School is completely free of charge—just like our recovery program. As men continue to grow, they’ll also begin to earn income and gain real-life ministry and leadership experience. During their two years, students will:

• Learn how to run a nonprofit ministry
• Gain hands-on experience in teaching, counseling, and leading recovery classes
• Develop character and servant-leadership skills
• Lead work crews and manage responsibilities
• Grow in public speaking and communication
• Have the opportunity to further their NCCER training if they choose

Why It Matters

We believe the longer someone stays connected, the stronger their foundation becomes. Time and again, we’ve seen God do incredible things in the lives of men who reach that three-year mark in recovery and ministry training. At that point, they’re not just staying sober—they’re walking in purpose, being used by God, and stepping into their own callings.

The Leadership Development School is more than training. It’s an opportunity to blossom, to develop a ministry style, and to become the man God has called you to be.
